NPA Ruby

A few of the things we look for when considering the purchase of a proven female is, quality fleece, quality progeny, and quality genetics. Chardonnay has all these things! Her 3 year histogram sports a low micron of only 17.8, SD 3.7, CV 20.6, and over 30 at 0.7%. We like these numbers and she is holding excellent character of crimp. Chardonnay’s first cria is NPA Ruby, a bay black female of excellent quality and then her second cria is NPA Tawny, who is a very attractive dark silver gray and was purchased by Crescent Moon Ranch at the Education with a Destination 2023. We have bred Chardonnay this year to Red Granite’s Innsbruck, a true black, we would expect a dark colored cria from this combination, and she is due early July 2024. Take a close look at her powerhouse pedigree and you will see she has quality written all over her.
